Our volunteers give their time, skills, and heart in all kinds of ways, including mentoring youth, lending a hand at events and programs, sharing professional expertise, or helping behind the scenes to keep our work moving.

Host a Fundraiser for REST
You don't have to run a charity to change a life, you just need an idea and a community behind it.
A third‑party fundraiser is any event or campaign you organize on your own to raise money for REST, and it can happen just about anywhere. Rally your coworkers for a workplace giving challenge or casual‑for‑a‑cause day, get your class or student club involved with a school fundraiser, or bring your neighbours, teammates, or place of worship together for a community event.
However you choose to do it, every dollar you raise helps us provide shelter, healing, and opportunity to youth in Peel Region. Our team is here to cheer you on with guidance, resources, and REST materials to help your fundraiser succeed.

BRIDGE BUILDERS
Become a community landlord. Give youth a sense of home.
The Bridge of Hope is a socially innovative approach to preventing youth homelessness. In partnership with community members, we match youth tenants with rooms for rent, helping them to live independently while maintaining a sense of belonging that can only be found in a stable home.
The process is comprehensive and managed by REST Centres end-to-end, from vetting landlords, to mediating the initial tenant-landlord relationship and ongoing practical support. We also provide landlords with sensitivity training, ways to introduce youth into their homes and how to engage with them positively and effectively.
Our partners are proof that business can be a force for good.
We work closely with our partners to develop programs that support youth, amplify our mission and create mutual value through media, employee engagement and social enterprise. If you’d like to collaborate, we’d love to hear from you.
